As a first-generation American of Indian immigrants, my heritage has always been a source of pride and inspiration. That's why I chose to name my logo after my family's ancestral village (and my last name), TORKE, located in India. To me, it represents my connection to my roots and perspectives that have shaped my life. My logo isn't just a nod to my heritage – it's also a tribute to the environment and natural beauty of my family's home region in Goa, India.

In particular, the logo's waves capture just a fraction of thestunning coastal landscapes that define this area. From the azure waters and powdery sands to the lush greenery and rugged terrain, the region is truly a feast for the senses. As someone who grew up hearing stories of this breathtaking region, I've always felt a deep connection to the environment and the people who call it home. That's why I wanted my logo to reflect not just my personal identity, but also my respect and admiration for the natural world.

Through my work and my advocacy, I hope to help preserve and celebrate the natural wonders of Goa and other coastal regions, both in India and around the world. After all, it's our responsibility to protect the planet for future generations to enjoy. I believe that the tech space is in dire need of more diverse voices and viewpoints. With technology becoming increasingly intertwined with our daily lives, it's more important than ever to bridge the gap of diversity and make space for underrepresented groups.
